Baruipur Sub-Divisional Branch
Baruipur Sub-Divisional Red Cross Branch is a voluntary humanitarian organization under the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and part of the global Red Cross network. IRCS was formed under the Indian Red Cross Society Act of 1920. The West Bengal State Branch began in 1921, and the District Branch in 1945. After the division of 24 Parganas in 1987, the Baruipur Sub-Division was created in 1996, and the Baruipur Sub-Divisional Red Cross Branch was established on 7 April 1998. By designation, the SDO of Baruipur serves as Chairman, and the ACMoH as Vice-Chairman of the branch.
